Word Collector Update

      Hi everyone!

I'm going to publish new Word Collector update on the market today. First at all I decided to increase number of levels in the lite version of game up to 10 levels.

Secondly I added  two additional levels to the full version yesterday. There will 20 levels in the this update.

The idea of first level is to collect almost all game bonuses on it. This level doesn't have any falling characters.

On the second level you will meet new bonus - brush. It will allow you to see the word of the level.

And one more thing - if you want to play this game on your native language, don't hesitate - write me and  with your help I will add support for your language to this game.

The idea of the second level is to test a player's luck. There is a special bonus - dice. It gives a 60% probability to score up any letter. Level's screenshot:

Word Collector Update

Hi. I'm working on the update for the Word Collector game right now. I'm planning to add some new levels and want to describe first of them here.

I came up with interesting idea for the level. The gameplay process of it is based on letters backlighting. There is a special bonus for turning it on - lightbulb.

Word Collector

About five month ago I came up with the idea of small game for android platform. And yesterday I published it on the market. I spend a lot of my free time on it and I happy that managed to bring the work to the end.

      Meet Word Collecter.

It's a small casual action game. The main idea is help the robot to make up of words by collecting falling and rising letters. Game control is provided by the accelerometer, and game levels are very diverse both in appearance and gameplay.

     Some game screenshots:

There are a lot of different bonuses:
         -       One of the most useful bonus. Stops the word conveyor for a while.
 -       Temporarily slows down the stream of time.
 -       Gives a small permanent speed increase to the robot.
 -       Works alone and helps you to collect letters without a penalty.
 -       Remits the penalty for incorrect letter collecting.
 -       Freezes for a while the letters which are not current.
 -       Blasts all falling letters except the current one. Shakes the display :p
 -       Nice move. Gives the current letter.
 -       Stops accidental change of letters for a while.
 -       Makes the letters which are not current go up.
 -       Helps to see the true value of the characters.
-        Makes all the letters similar to the current one.

Let's see a small video about game:

I'd like to thank Patrick Hoesly, I used his amazing tiles as a basis for the levels background. He added some feedback on this game in his blog recently. ))

Easy code sharing

Recently my friend who is software developer sent me a part of his creativity through skype. It was a disaster, because it was almost impossible to understand his message.

It's a common problem of such way of code sharing. Skype, icq are not intended to technical quotation. And it isn't convenient always scrolling this part of your communication.
So, I started looking for web application to solve this issue. But the solutions that I found contained authorization, advertisement and some other annoying stuff. And I just wanted to share some code sample in a simple way.

That is why I created this app:
http://www.stack-tracer.appspot.com

It contains only two pages, and will help you to post your technical quotation in two clicks. It supports syntax highlighting for almost all popular programming languages and keeps you message private.

I hope you will find it useful.
